BMW 5-Series GT: First Press Photos Reveal Seriously Big Butt [New Cars]

BMW plans for boosting and lifting automotive rear ends continue with the BMW 5-Series GT. While we already saw the concept in Geneva, these are the first official shots of the production version, set to debut at September's Frankfurt Motor Show and go on sale in early 2010.

Wow, probably the best looking car at the show; like a Ferrari California, but attractive. If the G37 looked like this we'd be all over it. The new, smaller Rolls is still over a foot longer than a BMW 7-Series and every bit a Roller deserving of the retracting Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament.
