Hyundai to build third plant in China

Hyundai already operates two manufacturing plants in China where it assembles Elantra compact sedan, mid-sized Sonata and Tucson SUV, but the company has recently experienced an increasing demand for its cars, so decision has been made to build a new factory to meet rapid local demand.

Hyundai Equus made its world premiere at the Seoul Auto Show in April. Since its official launch the model has only been on sale in South Korea, but Hyundai already announced it plans to ship the Equus to other International markets, including China and Middle East.
