What things have gone wrong with the car? Squeaky cargo cover at 1000km. Squeaky dashboard at 1500km.
What things have gone wrong with the car? Wrong?? ?Are you kidding??? This car is the greatest ON THE ROAD right now!!! Wonderful equipment... although the stereo system is quite sickening!!! But the interior is quite remarkable... Great front seat comfort... Great dashboard...
What things have gone wrong with the car? Worn near side wiper linkage. Dash has very small grey patch where it has rubbed away for some reason. General comments?
What things have gone wrong with the car? Leaking exhaust manifold @ 175000km. Worn out head cover gasket @ 175000km. Electronic head light adjustment failed.
Dear Subaru, Bring back the coupe!" What things have gone wrong with the car?
What things have gone wrong with the car? Rear wiper motor died. Power lock actuator died (replaced with eBay actuator for 2.99 that still works today 10K miles later.)
P1's are fantastic. I raced a 57 plate RS4; he had no chance... Not bad for a W reg. I have owned my P1 for 3 years now. Always serviced at Subaru. Drove it up to Subaru dealership... won't say which one... it was going fine, dropped it off weeks for the 60,000 mile service which includes cam belts.
The suspension is very soft compared to the 07 & 05 Impreza. This makes the car more comfortable, but the driver feels a bit of under steer at speeds over 140 km/h on hard corners.
Tracking has been done 3 times to date. Feels like the clutch is on the way out, might be expensive (competition clutch). Age 27 £1150 fully comp. This car is lighting 308bhp.
I love it, but..! Amazing car!
2007 Subaru Impreza works with difficulty in cold weather. It takes a lot of effort to get the engine started. Dealer cannot find reasonable solutions. Installing a block heater is not an option for me.
Hardly anything at all considering the miles, drive/power steering belt snapped on the M25 due to wear/incorrect adjustment. Very unfortunate with the left rear tire. It got two consecutive punctures and on the last repair the tire blistered so it had to be replaced.
Nothing at all has gone wrong with it, which isn't bad for an old girl.
Avoid all Imprezas!!!" What things have gone wrong with the car? Engine head gasket leaked at 95,000 miles. Engine developed a bad rod knock at 100,000 miles (replaced engine).
Nothing has broken or needed repair. This is a very reliable, fun to drive, and fairly comfortable car. It consistently beats the EPA 26 mpg rating even running 75-80 mph.
